Day 1 Arrive Varanasi by Flight

On arrival, our representative will welcome and escort you to the Hotel. After checking in formalities, our representative will hand over the “Welcome Folder” and brief you of the tour.

Day 2 Varanasi full day sightseeing

We start the day by heading to the Ganga River at 6 am to witness the Ritual Prayers. The prayer is a quintessential Varanasi experience, the early-morning light is particularly inspiring, and all the Colour and clamour of pilgrims bathing and performing puja unfolds before you. An hour-long trip south from Dashashwamedh Ghat to Harishchandra Ghat and back is popular, but be prepared to see a burning corpse at Harishchandra. Later proceed to hotel for breakfast.

After breakfast, prepare to visit the famous temples of Varanasi.

Morning visit the following famous temples of Varanasi. (*in no particular order)

  • Vishwanath Temple – The Kashivishwanath temple is the center of faith for millions of Hindus. The Jyotirlinga of Shiva, Vishweshwara or Vishwanatha, is enshrined in the temple, considered as one of the holiest temples of India. The KashiVishwanath Temple has been a living picture of the timeless cultural traditions and highest spiritual values.
  • KalBhairav Temple: KalBhairav Temple has a strong link with the history and culture of the city. Here Lord Shiva is portrayed as a man wearing garlands made with human skull.
  • Banaras Hindu University – Banaras Hindu University, is a public central university located in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. It was established in 1916 by Madan Mohan Malaviya. Over 30,000 students residing in campus, it claims the title of largest residential university in Asia.
  • Bharat Mata Temple – The temple was built by Babu Shiv Prasad Gupt dedicated to Mother India and was inaugurated by Mahatma Gandhi in 1936. The statute of Bharat Mata is built in marble and is a model of undivided India, depicting the mountains, plains and oceans. The most peculiar thing about the Bharat Mata Temple is that instead of the customary gods and goddesses, it houses a relief map of India, carved out of marble.
  • SankatMochan Temple – one of the sacred temples of Varanasi, It is dedicated to Lord Hanuman the remover of obstacles. According to Hindu mythology, one who visits the SankatMochan temple regularly, gets his wishes fulfilled. 

Later proceed to visit Sarnath. Sarnath is an archaeological site where Buddha first began teaching his followers. The site contains a stupa and the famous lion-capital memorial pillar, which is now the state emblem of India.

In evening take a boat tour on the River Ganges, you can light a lotus flower candle and set it adrift on the water before watching the nightly Ganga Aarti ceremony at Dashashwamedh Ghat directly from the boat. Overnight hotel stay at Varanasi.

Day 3 Varnasi – Prayagraj – Varanasi

Morning after breakfast, check out and proceed on a 3 hour journey (130 Kms) to Prayagraj. Prayagraj formerly Allahabad is a city in Uttar Pradesh state, It is situated at the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and “invisible” Saraswati rivers. Upon arrival proceed to visit Allahbad Fort, built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar, Patalpuri Temple and Allahabad Museum which contains Rajasthani miniature paintings.

Evening visit The Triveni Sangam, the site where the Kumbh Mela festival takes place every 12th year attended by millions of devotees. After visit return to Varnasi. Overnight hotel stay at Varanasi.

Day 4 Varnasi – Bodh Gaya (250 Kms/6 hrs)

After breakfast, Check out from hotel, and drive to Bodh Gaya (250 Kms/6 hrs). This holy city is in the state of Bihar, next to the Phalgu River. Visit temples such as the 18th Century Vishnupad Mandir, Mangla Gauri Temple and the Brahma Kund pond.

Afternoon check in to your hotel.

Visit the Sujata Village in the evening, a place where Lord Buddha got his first meal (milk and rice pudding) after coming out of his fast. Proceed to witness the evening prayers at the Mahabodhi Temple. Overnight hotel stay at Bodh Gaya.

Day 5 Bodh Gaya – Varanasi (250 Kms/ 6 Hrs)

After a leisurely breakfast, checkout from hotel and proceed to visit other sites of Interest such as the Sri Lankan Monastery, Japan Nippon Temple, Burmese Temple, Thai Temple, Chinese Temple and Tibetan Monastery before heading to Varanasi. Upon arrival, check in at hotel and rest of the day at leisure. Overnight hotel stay at Varanasi.

Day 6 Varanasi – Onwards

Morning after breakfast, at leisure for own activities. Later transfer to Airport for your onward destination.
